Senior sessions are in full swing.

I am truly blessed with so many beautiful seniors to photograph.

Starting the season off with the stunning Kolby B.

We had a great time with the exception of the mosquitoes

thank. heavens. for. bug. spray.

and.......the 100 DEGREE HEAT.

She totally pulled it off though!

Looking like a model in so many of these images.

I swear she has done this before.

SUCH. A. NATURAL.

Kolby is a senior at JHS this year.

She plays volleyball and softball.

I know she is going to have a wonderful senior year.

Wishing you the very BEST KOLBY!

ON TO GREAT THINGS SWEET GIRL ♥

IT STILL EXISTS....

Sweet Love ♥

I am so excited to share Morgan and Nolan's engagement session.

These two are so sweet together.

Morgan with that beautiful infectious smile.

Nolan such a gentle easy going soul.

They totally let me take the wheel on this session.

I enjoyed spending the afternoon with you guys.

Truly a beautiful couple on the inside and out.

Congratulations!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

A hot summer evening and two beautiful people.

One of my favorite songs came to mind after their session.

You ain't got a dress I don't like.

You ain't got a pair of jeans that don't fit you just right

There's not a minute in the day

That you don't knock me out, you don't blow me away

Girl tonight looks good on you

I can taste the midnight on your lips

Makes me just wanna lean in for another kiss

Wind blowing your hair around

Somethin' bout the way you're smiling

Makin' them stars fall right on cue

I just gotta tell you baby

TONIGHT. LOOKS. GOOD. ON. YOU.

Summer and Philip have been dating one year this month.

I think they make a beautiful couple....but I am partial.

Documenting a birth.

or rather....sharing a JOURNEY.

A very SPECIAL journey.

The story of first time parents to be.....Kathryn & Chris.

the NERVES.

the ANTICIPATION.

the PAIN.

the WAITING.

the UNKNOWN.

the PRAYERS.

the LOVE for their sweet baby girl.

Their day was long.

REALLY. LONG.

You think you are prepared....but nobody really is.

This is their story.

RAW. EMOTIONAL. BEAUTIFUL.

After the horrible contractions, the relief of the epidural, positive reassurance, and some really hard work.

Sweet Paisley Delane arrived at 6:11 p.m.

Weighing 7 lbs and 19 1/2 inches long.

A sea of family and friends with pink tee shirts were anxiously waiting outside.

So many loved ones gathered to welcome this special little girl and even more came later.

Kathryn's labor and delivery nurse said that after all her years of nursing...this was definitely one of the largest crowds.

Congratulations Kathryn & Chris...she is beautiful!

Thank you for letting me share your special day.

Paisley is so very LOVED.

For all the things my hands have held the best by far is you.

I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest family this past weekend for a portrait session, Megan, Nick, Darcey, & Anderson.

As most families do, we strive for those picture perfect moments with the outfits we deliberated on for weeks.

Sometimes. LIFE. REAL LIFE. gets in the way of our plans.

My dream as a photographer is to capture real moments..the ones that will mean the most as our children grow up.

I want to capture the little things.

THESE. THINGS.

the sweet smiles

the holding of our little boy's hand

sneaking a kiss

piggy back rides

the holding on so tight to our finger

squishy baby cheeks

those dimples

BIG bows & bare feet

comforting our frightened little ones

the daddy & son talks

reassuring touch that I'm here

Ipad addictions & baby meltdowns

high fives & skinned up knees

the let me in this mom & dad hug to

BIG hugs at the end of the day

Live for the moments you can't put into words.

These are the moments that really matter!

REAL LIFE ♥

Megan & Nick your family touched my heart in so many ways.

Thank you again!
